AAG 2013 Travel Guide


The following links will connect you to some travel references that will assist you in your travel planing for the Annual Meeting in Los Angeles. The meeting will run from April 9 to 13. A majority of attendees will want to arrive on the 8th and plan a late departure on the 13th (afternoon or evening flights). Other option is to schedule a day trip to Universal Studios, Long Beach, or Disney that afternoon and return home on Sunday the 14th.

Conference Information

The 2013 AAG Annual Meeting will take place at the Westin Bonaventure, LA Marriott Downtown, and the Millennium Biltmore Hotels. These hotels will have blocks of rooms available at preferred AAG pricing (generally 20% less than best available rate). Click this link to see a MAP of the area around the conference site.

Hotel Information

Being close to the conference action is desirable; however, the Metro Rail provides a way to access less expensive hotels while still providing easy access to the Conference site. The nearest station to the Conference is 7th Street & Metro Center. This station serves the Red, Purple, Blue and the new Expo line and is only 600 meters from the Conference Headquarters (at the Westin). Best hotel options are on the Red Line, but the new Expo or Blue Line might have some gems.
